SAPIENS is a continuous semantic processor of unstructured, multi-language texts for online or offline use. Its feature is highly precise definition of word senses, based on document context. Thus, the technology allows precise tagging of words, for example, whether ‘Apple‘ as a company or ‘apple‘ as a fruit. The technology also supports queries with indirect search of related senses, for example, resulting a document on precious metals after querying for ‘gold’, even though this word is not present in the text. Layout of special database developed for this project allows keeping low query execution for interactive user experience. High-level categories are also supported, e.g. politics, cars, etc. Each document can be auto-assigned to multiple categories with relativity metrics. The technology has special set of features to build personalized solutions.
